INVESTMENT PULP USE IN THE PREPARATION OF CULTURE ENVIRONMENT FOR GROWTH Lactobacilus rhamnosus Fuentes, María Elena; Cruz, Magdalena; Cerviño, Ana; Medina, Roxana y González, Silvia. UNT Ayacucho 471 mfuentes@fbqf.unt.edu.ar Introduction: The citrus industry produce potentially hazardous waste on human health & enviromen, discard pulp producing (PD) the orden of 2Tn/day, whose produce acids and organic waste matter. Indrustry has been investing in watershed a high DBO, causing a serious environmental problem. Aim: Using discard pulp generate in our town as sources of nutrients for growing Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Materials and Methods: Form PD citricola was obtained liquid waste (RL),with liquid waste prepare a solution 10% p/v as the basic culture medium was taken pH:7.5 (Medium M) from RL neutralized were designed 5 culture environment added glucose (G), peptona (P) and yeast extracts (EL) in different proportions: M1 = RL + 0.5% P + 0.3 G; M2 = RL + 0.25% P + 0.3 G; M3 = RL + 0.5% EL + 0.3 G; M4 = RL + 0.5% EL + 0.3 G and M5 = RL + 0.5% EL. Lact. rhamosus ATCC 7469 producer of diacetyl from citrate was inoculated 2% in the environment and was evaluated UCF/mL, changed PH and formationed the diacetyl at 0,6,12,24,48 hours incubation 35ºC. Diacetyl was determined by the method of King. Results: Lactobacilus rhamnosus  was able to grow in all culture environment except in M. In the environment M1 to M5 the biomass reached after 48 hours of incubation was same (7,76±0,33 a 6,50± 0,28) however the growth rates were higher M1  and M3   and minor M5  and M4 . The final values pH decreased between 4.97 to 4.80 for environment M1 to M4 , except for environment M5 increase a 7.60. Was detected diacetyl in M1. Findings: The design of culture environment from industrial waste, will meant an additional benefit to environmental problems arising from agro-industrial activities in our región.
