Resumen:
The main goal of this work is to introduce the reader to the history of translation within Argentine publishing in the twentieth century. In order to this, we will analyze two recurring translation phenomenons: the involvement of groups of emigrees and exiles who worked doing translations into Spanish, and the circulation of these translations across Spain and Latin America that took place when certain publishers decided to reuse them ?due to either plagiarism, transference of copyrights, or joint editions. Based on the case of Argentina, we explore four instances of translation where these two phenomenons intersect in a crucial way.
