Resumen:
When proposals of training teachers in service are presented, the teachers are rarely asked what they really need and desire. For instance: expectations regarding their service training, expectations regarding Didactics of Mathematics in particular and the impact of the Didactics of Mathematics on their professional career, aspects on what they are especially interested in and wish to cover in a seminar. In this study we do investigate these issues, based on a sample from Mathematics´ teachers in Argentina during three consecutive years (2008-2009-2010). Their answers are a clear indicator of their necessities and desires regarding service training.
