El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el fenómeno del mobbing en el ámbito académico, donde los cargos jerarquizados y bien rentados resultan escasos. Con tal fin se analizó su manifestación de acuerdo al tipo de organismo (público o privado), al tipo de vínculo laboral (titular o contratado) y a ciertas características de los profesores universitarios y/o investigadores científicos (edad y género). También se analizó la influencia del acoso laboral sobre el nivel de estrés Con este propósito fueron administrados cuestionarios para evaluar datos personales, mobbing y nivel de estrés a 180 profesores universitarios y 120 investigadores. Los resultados preliminares obtenidos permiten aclarar la relación existente entre ciertas características del ámbito laboral y el predominio de ciertos modos de manifestación del mobbing, así como el efecto del hostigamiento laboral sobre el nivel de estrés de las personas acosadas. Mobbing and stress level in the Academic Community Abstract The aim of this project is to study the mobbing in the Academic Comunnity, in which the hierarchical and well paid position results limited. With that purpose we analyzed his manifestations according to the type of organization (public or private), to the type of the labor relation (regular or under contract) and to certain characteristics of university professors and/or scientific researchers (age and gender). We also analized the influence of the mobbing over the stress level. With this objective we administrated questionnaires for assess personal data, mobbing and stress level to 180 university professors and 120 researchers. The preliminary results that we obtained allow us to clarify the relations between certain characteristics of the labor ambit and the predominance of certain ways of mobbing manifestation as well the effect of labor harassing over the stress level of harassed people.
