Resumen:
The recognition of human actions through the recording of movements by commercial use sensors, such as Kinect, is currently one of the most challenging research topics in the field of rehabilitation. Its inclusion as a tool, in contribution to the diagnosis made by the medical professional, represents an advance in the criteria adopted. However, problems arising from image and signal processing techniques certainly hinder the incorporation of such technologies. This work presents a method that makes use of tools provided by the classical differential geometry of curves, in order to achieve a more adequate and efficient representation of the movements performed by patients under different neuromotor conditions.
