Resumen:
We present a didactical proposal to work with secondary school students that is framed within the constructivist perspective. Students’ misconceptions are investigated regarding what they understand as biotechnology and its possible applications, and activities are proposed to improve the understanding of cloning and transgenesis and their importance in genetic improvement.
