Toxicity of essential oils, synthetic antioxidants and natural phytochemicals to three storage insect vectors of Aspergillus flavus

The purpose of the present study was to investigate de insecticidal activity of butyl hidroxianisol, butyl hidroxitoluene, cinnamic acid, ferulic acid, clove essential oil and thyme oil against Sitophilus oryzae, Tribolium confusum, and Rhyzopertha dominica that may act as carriers of aflatoxigenic fungi on stored maize.
