Resumen:
The Aim of this work was to determine the toxigenic profile of Alternaria species isolated from soybean seeds harvested in Argentina. It was observed that the 100% of strains were able to produce some of the analyzed mycotoxins (AOH, AME, TA). Within the 70 strains of Alternaria evaluated, variations were observed in the toxigenic profile. The most common toxigenic profile found was the AOH-AME-TA profile in the 97.5% of strains, while the rest produced only AOH-AME.
