Making choices in chollege: Between on-site and distance learning.

A design study ys described whose framework was implemented in a learning experience in a subjet of a degree in Psychology from Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto, Argentina. The proposal consisted of a class wich included a virtual instance and another on-site, in wich 50 students who were recovering the subjet participated during 2008 course. The choices made by participants between the on-site and online options were analized, the reasons for those choices and assessments of the learning proposal. The sata come from the administration of self-report questionnaires, interviews and statistical information provided bay the virtual platform. The results indicate a clear option for the virtual environment.
