This publication results from a sustained intellectual exchange that exceeds not only national and regional borders but also disciplinary ones and aims to be regarded as a turning point towards the study of the material dimension in Spanish American art and in art history in general as well. Gabriela Siracusano and Agustina Rodríguez Romero will be the editors of the book, which will be published by EDUNTREF, the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero´s editorial. The book will present an introduction, a prologue, 34 chapters written by the selected specialists, and an epilogue. We will propose to the authors a length of 50.000 characters with spaces for each chapter, including notes and bibliography. It will have a volume of 400 pages aprox, 368 pages in one color and 32 pages in 4 colors. It will present the chapters in Spanish and English.
