Resumen:
Samples of rainbow trout feed were analysed with the aim to determinethe mycofloraquality and the co-ocurrence of mycotoxins. A total of 28 samples of finishedrainbow trout feed from hatcheries in the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén,Argentina, were studied. Fungal counts were obtained on three culture media inthe ranges of <10 to 4.2x104 CFU/g on DRBC, <10 to 5.1x104CFU/g on DCPA, and <10 to 3.6x104 CFU/g on DG18. The mostfrequent mycotoxigenic fungi were Eurotium, followed by Penicillium and Aspergillus. The most prevalent micotoxigenic species were E. repensand E. rubrum. All samples were contaminatedwith mycotoxins. Co-occurrence of six mycotoxins was determined in 68% of thesamples.
