Bernd Stiegler (Germany, 1964) studied Arts in Tubingen, Munich, Paris, Berlin, Freiburg and Mannheim. He teaches contemporary German literature at the University of Konstanz, in Germany. Among his last publications we can mention Montagen des Realen. Photographie als Reflexionsmedium und Kulturtechnik (Montages of reality. Photography as a medium of reflection and cultural techniques) and the book that summons us to this dialogue, published in Argentina by Paidós press, "Reisender. Stillstand". This singular work allows (us) to think about its educational implications and invites to read it in an educational key. From here, we have put over a shared journey to show how this piece of work may contribute to re-think contemporary education. Furthermore, as well as the author´s pedagogical experience, it teaches other ways to be in the educational spaces, which allows us to alter or "othering" the everyday to transform it into real places of experience.
