Resumen:
Danio Rerio, zebrafish, is an exciting new model to work in vivo due to the advantages it presents. It is easy to work with, has a low cost maintance, and high progein at once. The embryonic development is well described and is easy to control the conditions in which is carried on. In adittion the fecundation and development is extenarl, the effects caused by the conditions at which it is exposed, can be observed without any further contradiction. BSA nanoparticles (BSAns)are of a diameter of 20 nm. As a protein the BSA has a wide range of compatibility with drugs, these are also possible to bind to the BSAn. This is due to the functional groups on it?s surface making possible the binding in a covalent way. Different characterizations studies described the nano particule as a more compact molecule than the protein by it?s own due to the high content of alfa-helix. The encapsulation was better thouoh not in a considerable way, and the drug releas was more stable and controlled. Liposomes are considered to be useful as drug delivery systems. One particular type of liposomes are the polymeric ones. They can be obtained by photopolymerization. Since the photo-polymerizable lipids combine the plasticity of lipids with the robustness of polymers, they have receives much attention in several biological areas. Obesity and overweight patients present high levels of anxiety. There are some molecules precursos of neurotransmitters which posess an ansiolitic and anorexic effect.these is the case for L-Triptophan, precursor of serotonine, which regulates anxiety, stress and insomnio. L-Arginine also presents advantages when it comes to obesity control. Not only, it causes loss of corporeal weight but improves the immune system. In this work, we studied the effect of the BSAn bound to the anitumoral drug Emodin, on the activity of zebrafish larvae. The results showed, a great toxicity caused by Emodin, and almost no effect, good or bad, for the complex BSAn:Emodin. These were also compared to larvae exposed to BSA and BSA:Emodin. The BSA showed a great hyperactivity on the larvae, whereas the complex, seemed to cause a toxic effect similar to the one caused by the drug alone. We also observes the effect caused by the obesity control molecules encapsulated in the polymeric liposomes on the spontaneous swim on the larvae. Larvae were also exposed to free aminoacids and polymeric liposomes all alone. Results proved no toxic effect on any of the larvae tested. Moreover, Lipopolymer-L-arginine exposed larvae presented an hyperactivity over the control ones. This result is synergic due to the fact that there is not such effect on the components on their own.
