Resumen:
Low field dc-magnetization measurements have been made over the 1.6 K – 12 K temperature range on polycrystalline samples of Thl−xGdx where x varies from 0.03 to 0.20. The dc-susceptibility has a maximum at a freezing temperature Tf that scales linearly with de Gd concentration. Above Tf the susceptibility follows a Curie-like law and below Tf remanent magnetization and magnetic viscosity are observed. A detailed analysis of the data in the neighborhood of Tf indicates that the time-dependent remanent effects extend to temperatures slightly above Tf. A comparison with specific heat data shows that Tf closely corresponds to the maximum of Cp/T vs T.
