This volume will deal with the reception of Marx´s economic work from 1892 to 1929, particularly in the theoretical journals of German and Austrian Social Democracy (Die neue Zeit and Der Kampf respectively) but also by mainstream scholars like Werner Sombart and by early Soviet economists like Isaak Illich Rubin. The essays will be structured in five sections bearing the following subtitles: The Reception of Marx´s Economic Work, Essays on the History of Political Economy, Methodological Essays, The Critique of Marginalism, and finally The Theory of Money.
