Regulating SVoD Services in the EU and the Americas

This paper aims to compare regulation in themain European and American audiovisual markets to critically examine howmeasures regarding content quotas and financial obligations are interpreted andoperationalized in relation to SVoD services. Such markets are, on the onehand, Germany, the United Kingdom (UK), France, Italy and Spain, and, on theother hand, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
