Resumen:
Liquid chromatography coupled with a photodiode array detector, electrospray ionisation, collision-induced dissociation and tandem mass spectrometry (LC-DAD-ESI-CID-MS/MS) has been used to detect and characterise chlorogenic acids (CGA) and other cinnamoyl conjugates in green coffee beans. This study illustrates the analytical power of this analytical system for the identification of natural products, of which standards are usually not commercially available.
