The Center specializes in the application of SPR biosensor technology to resolve the binding mechanism, affinity, and kinetics associated with biomolecular interactions.
Along with methods and software development, the Center conducts independent research and offers contract and consulting services for routine and advanced biosensor applications.
The Center offers a wide range of analysis for academic investigators. Projects include characterizing the kinetics of protein-protein, protein-DNA interactions as well as small molecule screening and active concentration determination.
Typical analysis can be completed within two to three days of receiving the samples.
Industrial groups should contact Biosensor Tools for contract services.
Data processing and modeling are critical components of biosensor analysis.
The Center has developed SCRUBBER-2
to improve data quality and increase throughput of biosensor technology.
Many of the techniques invented for SCRUBBER have become adopted as standard practice in the biosensor user community.
