Resumen:
This work presents the development and implementationof an ionizing radiation detector based on a commercialoff the shelf CMOS image sensor and a FPGA. The response ofthe system was tested in irradiations with gamma photons, betaand alpha particles using different configurations of the imagesensor. Finally, we analyze the possible uses of such configurationsin the discrimination of events produced by alpha particles inmixed radiation fields
