Resumen:
Reaching efficacious drug delivery to target tissues represents amajor obstacle in the current treatment of solid malignancies. Theaim of this work was to develop a specific targeting for hepatocellu-lar carcinoma (HCC) therapy.The therapeutic efficacy of enzymatically synthetized rutino-syl-4-methylumbelliferone (4MUR), which expose rhamnose asa terminal unit, was analyzed in vitro. 4MUR showed a significantanti-proliferative effect on liver tumoral cells (Huh7 IC50 = 488 μM),as compared to non-tumoral cells (IHH IC50 >2000 μM) and hepaticstellate cells (CFSC-2G IC50 >2000 μM) in a dose-dependent man-ner (p
