Resumen:
This work presents the analysis of a single-phase,single-stage AC-AC solid-state transformer, in conjunction witha switching strategy using phase-shift modulation. A grid filterdesign methodology is also proposed to minimize the harmoniccontent in the phase currents of interconnected grids. By meansof the phase shift between the voltages applied to the high-frequencytransformer terminals of the converter, it is possibleto control the power flow in a bidirectional mode and obtaincurrents with low harmonic distortion and a power factor closeto unity in both grids for almost the entire active power transferoperating range. A theoretical analysis is carried out and theresults obtained are validated by means of numericalsimulations.
