Resumen:
Retrofits have high potential to lower fuel consumption and thus reduce air pollution.Much of the technical solutions and economical implications are income sensitive. For private households? costs, the options with retrofit led to much lower cost as the savingsin fuel wood spent are larger, and subsidies reduce the cost of retrofits. For the public sector, the savings are in healthcare services and the main investment is inthe subsidies, thus the option replacing only stoves appears as having lowest cost for thepublic sector. For private households, the option that only replaces for new stoves but keeps thehouse without retrofit led to a decreasing NPV, resulting in more fuel poverty and thusunsustainable
