Resumen:
This paper extends and generalizes a model of Dissolved Oxygen (DO) dynamic developed forthe δ - endotoxins of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) batch production process to a DO dynamical model thatcan be used for a broad class aerobic Endospore-forming Bacteria (AEFB). The most significant featureof this type of microorganism is the endospores generation in their life cycle. The generalization of themodel allows to use the same parametric model structure for process control and state estimationpurposes in a considerable variety of AEFB batch bioprocesses by selecting an appropriate set ofparameters for each specific bioprocess.
