Resumen:
This paper presents an analysis of the scientists? perceptions of publiccommunication on the scientific themes related to the archaeological sitesof Atapuerca (Spain), which are included in the UNESCO World HeritageList. Based on a qualitative/ethnographic methodology, testimonies fromresearchers were collected on the impact of dissemination in the field ofheritage and scientific culture. Findings show a communication imprint thatis inherent to the scientific and management project, in which thestakeholders perceive a great public responsibility.
