Resumen:
Mechanical and barrier properties of biofilms depend on its composition and microstructure. Composite biofilms based on chitosan and methylcellulose mixtures were developed. The physicochemical and rheological properties of the film forming suspensions were measured. Water vapor permeability, microstructure and mechanical properties of films were determined. For composite films flexibility increased with increasing methylcellulose content
