Inclusive agrifood reterritorialization through short, value-adding supply chains: Experimenting new ways of connecting family farms with territories

In recent years several academic contributions have argued about the existence of various initiatives that put into question the prevailing system of food production in a nonlinear and sometimes contradictory way, and favour the emergence of new paradigms of rural development. This paper tackles the achievements and challenges faced by such initiatives in emerging economies. I elaborate the concept of inclusive reterritorialization processes and consider the mechanisms that sustain these initiatives.
