The differentiation morphological between males and female sexually mature is a common feature of animals, reflects the adaptation of both sexes to their different reproductive roles. In general, attributes that enhance the ability of males to locate, attract and/or retain female are favored by sexual selection. In this paper, we evaluated the cranial morphological variation between male and females of Rhinella arenarum. Were collected by hand 75 adults individuals during the breeding season of 2010. Subjects were euthanized with 10 ml of lidocaine hydrochloride 2% (Xylocaína®). The tissues were removed manually from the cranium. Subsequently, dorsal photograph was taken of each skull ands used nine landmark processed using software package Tps.
