Resumen:
Serin proteases regulation in mammalian sperm has been attributed to seminal plasma (SP) inhibitors. Secretions of seminal vesicle (SV) and prostate (P) mainly contributed to SP indeed inhibitors are probably secreted by this glands. The purpose of this work was to identify inhibitors of serin proteases SV and P in mouse by means of proteomic and silico data base. Proteins of low molecular weight were selected through centricon filtration device using a homogenate of VS and P of mice CF-1. After second protein fraction enrichment through affinity chromatography some inhibitors of serin proteases were obtained. Finally, by mass spectrometric analysis two proteins were identified: precursor of SV-IV and SPINK3. On the other hand, the bioinformatics’ search showed 15 trypsin and quimiotrypin inhibitors that are expressed in prostate or in the male tract. These results together indicate that a protein fraction of low molecular weight coming from VS contains at least one inhibitors of serin proteases different that was predicted by silico search or others authors results. We found that Spink 3 was secreted by SV.
