Resumen:
The original research and review articles of this collection illustrate how the study of transcription factors, chromatin remodelers, microRNAs, secreted factors, and intracellular transduction proteins are all necessary for the harmonious development and functioning of the nervous system. We expect this collection will stimulate the scientific community to continue its efforts to further understand cellular and molecular mechanisms in both healthy and diseased nervous system. Potential new biomarkers and novel treatments might emerge from this and other initiatives.
