Resumen:
The paper presents the concept of vulnerability, as a result of exposures related to the sensitivity and adaptive capacity of a person, system or community. Then, it explores the exposure idea, recognizing not only climatic exposures but also others coming from the socio-economic sphere. The discussion then focuses on the double or multiple exposures resulting from the combination of the climate and water exposures with others related to the effects of globalization on subordinated economies and economic agents.
