Resumen:
Based on a linear algebra approach, this paperaims at developing a novel control law able to track referenceprofiles that were previously-determined to optimize the proteinproduction in a fed-batch fermenter. A main advantage of theproposed strategy is that the control actions are obtained bysolving a system of linear equations. The optimal controllerparameters are selected through Monte Carlo Experiments inorder to minimize a proposed cost index. The controllerperformance is evaluated through several tests, and comparedwith other controller reported in the literature.
