Resumen:
Nitrosylation of Cys-residues is one of the molecular mechanisms driven by nitric oxide (NO) for regulating biological functions of key proteins. In animals, the NADPH-dependent thioredoxin reductase system (NTS) denitrosylates Cys-residues contributing to the regulation of protein functions. We studied the participation of reductases in the auxin-induced NO-mediated lateral root (LR) development and in keeping the balance of nitrosylated proteins.
