Resumen:
Reaction microtextures developed in the chloriteblackwall zones located in between bodies from Río de Las Tunas mafic-utramaficbelt and schist country rock were studied in this contribution. The outcropsbelong to the Cordillera Frontal of Mendoza province. The studied microtexturesare developed in porfiroblasts completely replaced by chlorite. Around theseporfiroblasts is observed a rim with microvermiform spinels.l. aggregates in reaction with chlorite and magnetite groundmass. Smallamphibole porfiroblasts with chemical zoning is superimposed to these reactionrims. The studied microtextures can be explained by the reaction chlorite +magnetite + spinel, which indicates a relative increase in the T of the system.This increase can be related with the gondwanic magmatism developed in thearea.
