Resumen:
Moderate exercise slightly increases mice life span, as 19 % and 9 % increase in 5 % survival time in males and females, respectively. Protein carbonyls and TBARS were higher in males than in females, increased in aging and were decreased by moderate exercise (from 28 to 52 weeks of age). Cytochrome oxidase activity showed statistically correlated inverse changes: it was higher in females than in males, decreased by aging and increased by moderate exercise.
