Resumen:
GUIDELINES FOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING CURRICULUM BASED ON A SURVEY OF GRADUATESAbstract:The Industrial Engineering program of the School of Exact Sciences and Technology of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán was created in 1999. It has a Study Plan that was modified in 2004 and obtained in 2014 its last CONEAU accreditation, for 6 years. As a result of the new requirements established in Resolution No. 1543/2021 of the National Ministry of Education and the scope of labor performance of the graduates, it was proposed to carry out a diagnosis to address the necessary modifications to the current study plan. The general objective was to develop an information system on graduates, analyze the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement of the current study plan and identify their insertion in different work environments.A survey was made to all graduates, with a response rate of 37%, which focused on the academic and labor areas, identifying the level of satisfaction with the training, the assessment of the skills acquired and the problems experienced during the course, as well as the areas of performance. It was concluded that the current plan satisfies the needs of the graduates, with a high level of labor insertion in specific areas of Industrial Engineering. The results showed that the training received in the area of processes is well valued, and there were needs for improvement in the area of management that should be addressed in the next study plan.
