Resumen:
The familyDiatrypaceae (Xylariales) includes mainly saprotrophic and somepathogenic species on wood of angiosperms.The aim of this study is to provide information of taxonomic interestand distribution of 30 species and species complexes of Diatrypaceaerecorded in Argentina. Diatrypeconcolor, Diatrypemegale, Diatrypepolycocca complex, Diatrypephaselina, Eutypaconsobrina complex, Eutypellaaspera and Eutypellalophiostomoides are recorded for thefirst time and the distribution of Diatrypechlorosarca, Diatrypeenteroxantha ? Diatrype puiggarii complex,Diatrype patagonica,Diatrype wrightii andPeroneutypa scoparia is extended.Eutypella bonariensisis proposed as synonym of Peroneutypascoparia.
