Resumen:
Abstract:In this study it was analizad the segregation of characters in the offspring of a weed type of Phaseolus vulgaris L. var. aborigineus (Burkart)Baudet. In the F2 generation  half of the plants were isolated of the pollinators (spontaneous self-pollination). In the F3 half of the plants were isolated and the rest were exposed to crossed pollination with plants of a commercial cultivar of Phaseolus vulgaris with the same flowering phenology; seeds of both treatments were sown in the next year. The plants of the F4 generation were maintained isolated of the pollinators.  The plants  produced by the cross pollination treatment  were stronger than the parental plants, and in their seeds  it was observed the existence of addition of characters, desirables in plant improvement, the culture of their offspring will allow to analyze the stabilization of these characters.
