Resumen:
Due to the potential occurrence of arsenic (As) in agricultural soils and the ecological significance of mycorrhizal fungi, it is proposed to assess the effect of this metalloid on these fungi both in vitro and in vivo. To this end, germination of spores, hyphal length and the percentage of radical colonization were evaluated. A decrease in the first two parameters when the levels of As were increased in the media was recorded. However, the colonization percentages do not reflect the toxicity generated by As.
