Resumen:
The design rationale of this proyect was to obtain an hydrofilic network with permanent positive charges. To attain this objective ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE) was mixed with imidazole (IM) in different molarratios, and left to react at 70oC. The 1:0.3 EGDE:IM molar ratio gave a hydrogel with high adsortion capacity.
