Resumen:
In recent years, there has been considerable interest in using botanicalagents to prevent skin ageing. Extracts from different parts of Arctium lappa L. (Asteraceae),commonly known as burdock, have been reported to have biological activities andpharmacological functions, including anti-iflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and antiageingeffects. In this work, TLC and HPLC chromatographic systems for quality control ofA. lappa extracts were developed.
