Resumen:
Antiprotozoal activitiy of dichloromethane and ethanol 50% extracts of Eupatorium arnottianum is reported against Leishmania donovani and Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense.Dichloromethane extract was active against Bacillus brevis and B. subtilis. Jaceosidin was identified as one of the antimicrobial compounds present in this extract while nepetin and eriodyctyol were identified from the ethanol 50% extract.
