Abstract: The preliminary phylogenetic relationships of Perenniporiella, inferred from parsimony and bayesian analysis of a combined set of DNA sequence data (nuclear ribosomal partial LSU and ITS) are discussed, and the genus main features critically analyzed. Perenniporiella chaquenia sp. nov. is described as new and new records of Perenniporiella pendula and Perenniporiella micropora are commented. A key to the Perenniporiella species is presented.
