Resumen:
The Molecular Modeling method consist of a computer´s collection techniques for deriving, representing, manipulating molecular systems and chemical reactions in the way that those properties, are dependent on these three dimensional structures. This paper aims to introduce a simple way of the basic methodology employed in computational modeling techniques, currently used as an important tool of chemistry, taking advantage of the new capabilities that students have incorporated, related to the simplicity of assimilating modern information and communication technologies. This will propose some simple activities as a complement to the teaching of stereochemistry, assignment of relative configuration and conformational analysis among others, that also permit to visualize geometric parameters such as bond lengths, bond angles and dihedrals angles, taking some simple organic molecules to study.
