Resumen:
Metal oxide-based resistive-type gas sensors are solid state devices which are used in applications such as health and safety or emission control. Here, we analyze the relation between electrical properties and the morphology of the material for metal-oxide thick films and metal-oxide nanowire gas sensors. Particularly we focused in the conduction mechanisms which are key to optimize the sensor response time, selectivity an sensitivity to gases.
