The experiments were performed in a CREC Riser Simulator, laboratory batch fluidized bed reactor at 500 ºC during 15 s. More gaseous hydrocarbons, particularly C4- olefins, and less liquid hydrocarbons in the C5-C20 range were obtained in the co-processing, as compared to the conventional feedstock. The yields of oxygenated compounds were very low, lower than 3 %wt. The coke yields were typical of commercial values, between 5.0 and 5.4 %wt. The thermal previous conditioning of the bio-oil reduced considerably the yield of coke in co-processing (about 10 %) and increased the yield of hydrocarbons in about 3 %.
