Resumen:
A kinetic study of hydrogenation reaction of 1-heptyne in liquid phase was carried outusing tungsten, nickel and paladium supported on γ-alumina monometallic catalysts.Several heterogeneous kinetic models and pseudohomogeneous were analysed in ortderto determine the main kinetic parameters of the reaction. The catalysts were prepared bymeans of the incipient wetness technique and were characterized by ICP, XPS, DRX,TPR and hydrogen chemisorption. For the studied catalysts it was determined that the 1-heptyne hydrogenation responds toa schematic of complex reaction in parallel. The kinetic obtained with pseudohomogeneous model with irreversible reactions in parallel presented the better adjustmentto the experimental data. Pd/Al2O3 and W/Al2O3 catalysts turned out to be more selectiveto the formation of 1-heptene. The selectivity order was Pd ≈ W >> Ni. The order ofactivation energy obtained for the reaction of 1-heptyne - 1-heptene and 1-heptyne -heptane was Ni>W>Pd.
