Resumen:
Microreactors allow a better control of highly exothermic gas phase reactions due to their high heat and mass transfer rates [1]. Controlling the deposition of a homogeneous thin film catalyst on the walls of such structures is of challenging interest. Zeolites can be used as catalysts in a wide variety of reactions; however, few articles concerning zeolite-based metallic microreactors can be found in the literature [2, 3]. Moreover, the advantages of using high thermal conductivity supports for exothermic reactions in millimeter-sized reactors have been considered [4]. In this work we present the synthesis of zeolite films on brass microgrids, which are tested in the catalytic oxidation of CO.
