Resumen:
Lantahan-supported Pd catalysts with different metal loads were evaluated in carbon dioxide of methane (dry reforming). A strong interaction betweeen Pd and La was noted. The catalyst produced low hydrogen to carbon monoxide molar ratio and thys the reaction can be combined with methane steam reforming to adjust this ratio for several purposes. The catalyst with 1% Pd was the most active leading to conversion above 80% and hydrogen to carbon monoxide molar ratio of 0.4.
