Resumen:
We analyzed genetic (COI) and morphological variation from 13 introduced  South American Limoperna populations. Most populations were genetically similar, with only one dominant haplotype, which suggests a lack of marked genetic structure. We found differences in gill area between relatively close populations. However, these differences were not related to the genetic structure. While these results are preliminary, further sampling and analysis of environmental factors is ongoing.
