Resumen:
Cyrtotylus henryi (Orthotylinae, Orthotylini) is described as a new species on the base of afemale from French Guyana. Justifications are offered for this action. The genus Cyrtotylus Bergroth,1922 is mentioned for the first time from French Guyana.
